      From photos I have seen the manifold fits very close to the arch of the
housings.......Did you catch the oil filter pad bypass cast as part of the
manifold ?? Also the throttle butterfly opening is about 7.5mm (2.95 inches)

Thanks for the forward.  That looks about as close to an off the shelf, one size fits all intake as any I've seen.  I can't wait to hear the price, and some more details, like how high above the center of the engine if fits.  Just lovely.  
 
I was tempted to pester them directly, but it sounds like he'll post info when it's available, so I'll leave him alone.  If you see an update, please pass it along.
