That one got me yesterday, Rusty. More of an attention getter for me cause I hit it on base.
I think it's the "high rpm" map table that needs programming. This is the table that gets used when map is low but rpm is high, such as at idle in decent. The EC2 manual talks about the need to program this map either with the prop off, or at altitude.

Hi John,

Glad to hear you're back flying.  One of my goals for todays flight was specifically to try to tune the dual MAP, but when it appeared to be farther off the scale than I imagined, I decided to regroup, and think about this some more.  It probably is just off the scale, and I really wish I had noted the MAP at the time.  I'd really like to get this running smoothly, since it's quite unnerving on approach to have the engine only half running.   Let's just say I don't ever leave my approach short :-)

If I had an auto tune chip like you do for the EM-2, that's how I'd tune it.  BTW, I think we decided early on that tuning the dual MAP without the prop was something that should be removed from the instructions :-)

Cheers,
Rusty (1014 gallons used in the last 8 hours according to the EM-2, and 66 gallons in my 15 gallon tank until I cycled the power)
