OK I see now, if he's going to use the motor shaft drive from the front
housing to drive his PSRU circulation pump what's he going to oil the apex
seals with - am I missing something ?

I agree with you on possible over complication, but doesn't hurt to have
that option.

1. Use the metering pump just as a circulation pump thru a small
cooler, but still using splash feed. ( splash lube is OK for gearboxes,
remember that 99% of car manual gearboxes use splash lube), and,

2, Use the metering pump pad/drive, to run a small pressure pump to
spray lube and circulate oil thru a small cooler.

Both could be unnecessary, and just add to complication, weight, and
another point of failure . As someone said, "solving a problem we don't
have"
