JohnD Hum-m-m. I guess we'll keep an eye on that. The silicone hoses are considered an upgrade because of higher temp and strength characteristics. I'm not aware of any compatibility problems with EG. A quote from one vender - With aggressive driving comes very high water temps that really push the limits of the stock radiator hoses. Silicone hoses are a upgrade that will help keep your engine safe at high operating temps. Silicone is durable and more resistant to bursting and cracking.
