Eventually, I'll get back to the RV-3, but I figure I'll fly it like it is for a while, and hope I can live with the lackluster 2500 fpm climb :-) I didn't look at any of more traditional type blowers, because I didn't think they would ever fit. I didn't find any sizes on the pages you quoted, but the Eaton unit is really much smaller than I imagined. Now that I think about it, my old supercharged MR-2 had a pretty compact blower as well. Hmmm. I also notice that (I'm spending too much time on this) GM used an Eaton blower on their 3.8 liter engines for a while. These seem to be available pretty cheap. I wonder if they turn the right direction. Cheers, Rusty (also trying to resist buying a Dynon D10A) What's wrong with you?? In my line of work, if I ever get 2500 fpm climb, I am in heaven!! :)) Somewhere else on this list I posted that KenneBell offers a bolt-on replacement for the Eaton for Fords. So the size must be very comparable. Nice thing about both (Whipple and Eaton) is, you can intercool them with a sandwich-cooler that goes between the charger and the intake-manifold. Downside: It is water cooled, so you need another EWP/hoses/radiator/ducts/etc....
