Can you give me the distance between Tracy's re-drive back plate & the drive plate (attached to the flex plate, from the aluminum plate section). I have outboard motor alternator parts that I would like to squeeze in there.

George, I can't measure right now, but you might glean it from this picture I have on the computer. the ID of the exhaust pipe is 2.5"
There are also some nuts from the screws that hole the bell housing in place that you should take into account.
Best to go find one if you are going to do any serious fitting stuff up...
