The more I think about, the detonation issue because of the advanced timing is starting to make some sense.  Will go retard the timing and see what I get. 

 

I agree that's the easiest, and perhaps safest thing to try.  Hopefully, 35" MAP isn't just the point where the coolant o-rings start to leak :-0
