Hi=20 Dave,

My = Davies Craig EWP has=20 run for more than 35 hours now, with no problems at all.  In my = current=20 installation, it's in series with the stock pump, but I run it all the=20 time.  If I wasn't using the water pump housing for an alternator = mount,=20 temp sensors, etc, I would have ditched the mechanical pump on the last = engine=20 rework.  The single rotor will have two Davies Craig EWP's, and no=20 mechanical.

Todd has = two Davies=20 Craig EWP's, and no mechanical.  He did have an initial QA problem = with his=20 first pump, but he was able to take it apart, and clean it up, and = it's=20 still going strong today.  His second pump never had any issues, = and he's=20 even got a Davies Craig boost pump now to use with his heater = circuit in=20 the frigid winters.  I'm not sure how many hours he has on all = the=20 pumps, but they've been there since day one, except the boost pump which = he=20 recently added.

With the new RX8 engine and water pump in mind, it seems to me that=20 RX8
technology has left this problem behind. BR, Dave McC

How is the Renesis pump = new=20 technology?

Cheers,
Rusty
