I think this idea has merit. One method of facilitating the recognition
issue would be to gain recognition by the EAA, or be a type group
associated with them. I am an EAA member, and though I have feelings both
ways for the association, I feel it would certainly help to have the
national organization in our corner with the FAA and NTSB. At least as far
as a reference for them to utilize in the event of a rotary powered crash.
I think they would be much more likely to have us involved if we were
associated with a big organization like the EAA.
