I don't think the name makes a difference. I work as a consultant to non-profits week-in and week-out. The IRS cares what your charter declares as your purpose. In our case, it would probably be best as some kind of educational group that gathers information about rotaries in aircraft applications and spreads it to others. Trips, conferences (ie., a weenie roast at OSH), a website, email, correspondence, testing, yada yada are all within the program purposes of a group educating members and the public about rotaries.
