Rusty, I know what they cost as my Eaa chapter considered buying one for chapter use. Typical prices run between about 2 and 3K. The options are one or two axis system. the cheapest systems are around 1800, but they have almost no equipment beyond the single sensor. Too many problems. You will need to spend about 2400 to get a good operational system. Beyond that the sky is the limit for the max for a computerized system.

Thanks for the comments.  What brand is your chapter thinking of buying?  I could probably justify $2400 for a functional system, particularly since it would probably pay for itself pretty quickly.
