There's one vendor "Roldolfo Alonso" who has quite a few engines advertised as "new" and he shows photos of what are supposed to be crated engines. One, opened, shows and engine which - from the exhaust system - I would guess were intended for static applications [the (in)famous gas line pump engines?] The prices seem a little low for new, $4000 for a four-port RX-8, that I wonder about their origin (stolen? Salvage from a burned warehouse, or a wrecked transport?)
The vendor has no history - a big red flag for me.

For me it would have to be $2k or less (but even then I wouldn't touch it).
You can buy a brand new Renesis from Bruce stripped, checked out and rebuilt
with all mods done, better apex seals and o rings for around $5600. A used
engine with unknown internals would be worth a LOT less.
