Interesting note about Max. I also got the same impression when I
originally contacted him - really not that interested.
Don't be easily put off. It's not that he's not interested - he is. It's
more a matter of getting his attention. He's got a lot going on and is
easily distracted by more compelling (read income generating, perhaps) work.
Once you have his attention he's well worth the trouble - very sharp and
knowledgeable and excited about providing a good solution.
