Re: [FlyRotary] Warp Drive
response...
I have 1300 hrs flying on a Warp
drive on my coot and it works great as it produces good static thrust
but I hear that they don't work as well on high speed
planes.
Also I have had a prop hub plate
crack, the plate that mounts to redrive is made from 3/8 inch plate
where the other plate is 1/4 inch, this may work fine on a tractor as
its under a compression load but on a pusher its under a tension load
and I think that both should be 3/8 inch.
Warp drive never made me the 3/8
inch plate so I ended up making my own, if y6u order a prop for a
pusher I would demand that both plates are made from 3/8 inch
plate.

The warp drive people seem to indicate
that their prop is capable of handling the HP of a turbo 13B (250
hp/220 mph).. For the price that is quite amazing.. Any comments,
practical experience, wilda$$ guesses?
