My project is in running state (as soon as I get my new Canton Racing alternator pulleys installed), but I can't put the prop on just yet, so it wouldn't do much good to run the engine with this muffler. In a few months though I hope to have the gear and prop installed and moved the project to the airport. Then I could do some full power tests. =20 =20 Mark =20 =20 ________________________________ From: Rotary motors in aircraft [mailto:flyrotary@lancaironline.net] On Behalf Of Bartrim, Todd Sent: Friday, April 22, 2005 2:26 PM To: Rotary motors in aircraft Subject: [FlyRotary] Re: Aeroturbine muffler =20 Hi Mark;=20 This sounds good, but I wonder if they have tested on, or are even aware of the destructive nature of the rotary exhaust? It could be that they just "can't see any reason why not?". But since they seem to feel it would work, then they should have to stand behind the warranty if it doesn't. I don't suppose you asked them about continuos high power use? What stage is your project at? Do you have your engine capable of running to test this, either on the airframe or on a test stand? Todd,

Well, their response was very quick.  Here is the reply to my question about = using their muffler on a rotary.  =

This is a great muffler for all performance cars and will work well on the rotary engine.
