304ss Flowmaster style muffler for $53.01.  Might fit someone's needs. =20

From the looks of it, I would be surprised if it is even 5 pounds.  You
can get more info from what appears to the parent company's web site at

exhaust couplings, and many other items that could be useful to our
efforts. =20

I have contacted them just this morning about whether or not they
recommend using it on a rotary.  Depending on their response, I may
follow up with another inquiry concerning their lifetime warranty.  I'll

Hi Mark;

    While I'm currently satisfied with the performance of my homemade
"SpinTech" muffler, I'm very intrigued by this one. I could find no
weights listed, but it looks like it shouldn't be more than ~7#. What I
find most appealing about this muffler is the claimed "cooler"
performance. It seems that they're implying an overall reduction in
temps, due to less backpressure as well as a cooling effect within the
muffler. As some of you may recall, I incorporated a muffler housing
into the bottom of my fuselage to keep the muffler out of the airstream
and out of the cowl, however while it doesn't get too hot, a reduction
of this temp would be welcome.

    You should contact them for further details as I and I'm certain
many others would be very interested.

	It looks to be very streamlined, made of SS, lightweight, and
has no packing. It sells for less than $200 (except for the 5" model).
This looks like this just might be what I've been looking for.  More
