Yes, I'll follow up on this for sure.  I'm seriously considering this muffler for my 3-rotor.  My main exhaust is 3" stainless, so I'm interested in the p/n 3030.  I read on another site that they're made of 304SS.  So, that answers that question.  I would like to get the specifics on the "Lifetime Warranty", and how do I go about getting a refund if it falls apart, melts, etc.

Hi Mark,

Their warranty is listed on the web page, and after reading it, I don't think we're going to stand a chance of being covered.  Still, if  company is willing to offer a lifetime warranty, you would hope (not necessarily true) that it's because they really do believe it's high quality.

I believe Tracy's current muffler is only 304SS, so I agree with your other post that this should be enough, if it's far enough away, or in the airstream so it can cool.

I'll be interested to hear what they tell you about rotary use, and also the weight.  I believe my Spintech weighs 14 lbs, so we can hope it's much less than that.  I would be looking at the 2525 for the RV-3, if it turned out to be lighter, quieter, more power, or any combination of the above.  Since that's the smallest size they make, it's probably going to be too big for the single rotor project.

Thanks,

Rusty
