Does your cooling system work? I am planning my RV7 with Renesis motor and would appreciate any help with the cooling system. You may recall that cooling or lack of it on a hot day caused the demise of my RV6A.

Hi Ian,
The oil cooling side is working well as far as I can ascertain. The hot
side is reading 215-220 F. My cool side is obviously out to lunch, it
reads 120 or so. I tried to mimic Tracy's use of a spark plug type CHT
probe strapped to the oil cooler neck.
The coolant side needs some work, I am limited to about a 3000 ft initial
climb out before the water pressure nears the cap limit. Temp is about
220 then. After I level out and cool momentarily, I can then climb to
10k without hitting the limit again. Ed Anderson is sending me a CAD
drawing of the diffuser he would try to fit on the inlet. I had simply
made a dump diffuser, but will try his idea to hopefully get some
improvement.
Bernie, 3.7 hours over the last 3 days and got the encoder working today!
