My remote
mount is using the stock filter "pedestal", and a stock 3rd gen filter
(because they're short, made for high pressure, and I still have a bag of
them).
If you have a bag of them.. then sacrifice one to answer the question :)
They aren't made of gold!

I'd check :-) If I can't tell by looking at a new one, I'll just
wait a few more hours and cut open the one that's on the engine
now.
