Ken, Yes it does. Someone also mentioned that the oiled element filter was more restrictive. That is also untrue in the case of the K&N's. The K&N filter is a special cloth material. Resist the temptation to leave them un-oiled, They will be more porous if you don't oil 'em. I've see K&Ns working when they looked like adobe bricks!
