Hi Jerry;
Sorry for the delayed reply on this. The hockey team that I play for spent
the entire season in the cellar, but we pulled it together for the playoffs
and we are now division champions! While the playoffs were on, I didn't have
any time for this.
I mounted my EWP's at the lowest point in the loop, after the rads. This
ensures that they will not lose their prime if a little air gets in the
system and keeps them on the cooler side of things. My first EWP was mounted
on the firewall and I've now got the second one supported by a steel strap
of the front side (airplane orientation) of the engine.
I sized my system for 1.25" hose. The fittings that come with the DC EWP
are for 1.25" and then you can side an adapter over for use with the larger
sizes. My adapter block has nipples that fit 1.25" hose, so are 1" ID. It
would be nice to have 1.5" hoses, but I don't think it is necessary. I do
fine with 1.25" and many others are doing fine with 1" or less although I'm
not personally in favour of that small.
A few days ago I took a bunch of pics of my cooling system. If you or
anybody is interested I can post them online.
