I was just about to ask if anyone had heard from you
recently. I thought maybe you HAD taken up golf of fishing
:-)
Are you saying that your new scoop dumps air
into the cowl, in the vicinity of the TB? In other words, not directly
to it via some sort of duct. If that's the case, it
could certainly be a problem, but you'd think it would affect the
oil temp as well. Still, the temps you posted aren't bad, as long as you
were climbing at full throttle, and to a reasonable
altitude.
