It would = not restart before this without releasing pressure ahead of the pump. =20 =20 I'll give you this one, especially if your pumps are not low in the = system so gravity can feed them. =20 =20 Twice in my life I have experienced partially clogged fuel filters in a = car. Of course I was much younger and I am sure they was not serviced = properly. The idea was to provide redundancy so either pump could use either = (both) filters. Also a nice place for sensors. However, it added extra = connections. :( =20 =20 We could play a hundred what-if questions, but say you get some crud in = your tanks. You're flying along, slowly filling up both filters. = Eventually, you start to lose fuel pressure, so you turn on the 2nd pump. It has to pump through the same two clogged filters, so no joy.
