I called AVEMCO, whom I have the Piper Colt insured with and they will not
insure the Wittman Tailwind or any other homebuilt at this time, exceptions
are the ones that they were insuring last year.  I called the EAA, Falcon,
and the quote was about $1700.00 thru AIG.  Looks like Falcon is just an
agent for AIG.  This is double the insurance the guys are paying for
Lyconosaurs', so it looks like we are not liked by AIG with the Mazda's', or
at those rates maybe they love us.  Any one have any other ideas for
insurance.  JohnD
