I'm planning on using a Renesis but am at least 1 year away from even purchasing one.  I read with interest everyones developments.  I had planned on needing the engine sooner but unfortunately life events get in the way.  I will have to unsubscribe from the list next week while I deploy to Iraq to fly the C12.  They have some interenet connections there but the amount of email vs the amount of free time I will have will be too much.  Maybe I can check the archive everyonce in a while to see how everyone is doing.  If all goes as planned I should be back on the list and working on the RV by Fall.  Fred B.  I still want my mount your check is on the way!  Take care and safe flying.

Subject: [FlyRotary] Throttle body size?

Anyone have any ideas on how large of throttle body I need for my Renesis?
I really don't even know where to start to try to figure it out? I have a
RX8 workshop manual, but I can't find anything in there that would help in
that area, mostly just deals with Mazda part numbers and troubleshooting.
Unfortunately Mazda left out the Aviation R&D section in my manual.

Also, I am interested in (and mostly curious) how many guys are using
the Renesis, and at what point you are in your build. I have spoken to a
few guys that are going to use it, but have found few that have started on
the FWF with it. Tracy obviously excluded.   Ben Schneider
