I am going to experiment some more (at
altitude), but there is a definite connection (at least in the 80-90 mph range
on my bird) between what appears to be a sudden change from a non-factor
to an "air brake" factor. {:>). Until I decide otherwise, I will keep
my rpm above 2800 on final.
Yea. Me too! Hot & fast. That's me.
:)
Glad to see you back in the air, John.
I am interested, when you get to that point, about your performance with the
modified turbo.
See my other post about power issues. Thinking about it and
rereading my own logs I HAVE had good power since the turbo change. The other
week I clocked 252 mph on the GPS ground speed at 5000', 5600rpm and 46
MAP. There was a wind, but still.....
John (waiting for the
weather)
