Well, I guess the main reason is that it hasn't flown yet! OK, why not?
I have put a lot of cockpit time in recently trying to "familiarize" myself better with MAP, limit setting, etc. details of the EC2 and EM2. I try to call Tracy only once a day with the top 10 questions :>) Am feeling more comfortable, but not ready to leap into space quite yet.
The engine starts and runs good now with some limitations. It runs good on primary injectors only, OK on both , and crummy on secondary. I think that rotor one EGT's are the unstable guy so suspicion rotor one secondary injector. Do not know if I damaged the peak and hold injectors running briefly without the 5 ohm resistors or not. If you look at the new(old) pictures Laura posted on the web site, you will appreciate that it is not a 10 minute job for me to swap injectors around. If I were starting over today, would consider a new Sam James cowl (powersport type) with radiator slung underneath engine and Tracy's latest simple T/B plenum and straight in intake runners. This I believe would be a more serviceable setup.
We are finally getting some rain tomorrow, so probably will not run again before monday.
