Your idea of adding some springs, or maybe even something more rigid, is a
good Idea to take the stress off in flight.  The next better idea would be
to replace it with inconel; or find out why the temps are so high.  I'd
expect that the TIT should be at about that level, but I'm not familiar with
running with a turbo.
