Heck, with a finned pan, and one of these finned oil filter covers, I'm thinking I can skip the oil cooler altogether for the Slingshot.  Since the engine just hangs out in the breeze, there ought to be plenty of airflow.

I somewhat doubt it will make much difference Rusty. The huge amounts of heat that need to be dissipate are too much for few extra sq. inches of aluminum. I would go with oil cooler and the rest is just to make you feel better you did something extra :)
