Are you sure he remembered that you have a 2.85 drive? =20 =20 I'm sure there's more to the props that it would seem from the initial dimensions. He was looking at the blade area he used for my prop, and = kept saying that it was huge. I believe his plan is to reduce some of the = blade area, at the trailing edge. He explained that doing this makes the tip = too narrow, which is why he needs to trim the length some. It's very = possible that your prop is longer, but the blade area (shape) may have been = narrower to keep the area the same as mine and Tracy's. I really don't = understand it, which is why I sent him all that money :-) =20 =20 As a side note, I'm really not at all sorry to see a couple inches of diameter go away. My ground clearance is really low, so an extra inch = will be nice to have. I've been afraid to fly into a grass strip due to the = low clearance, and in fact, the only grass I've operated on was the Navy helicopter field.
