What he said! Very common question that I get and this is the
correct answer. DO NOT try to directly match the load with the breaker
(or fuse if you insist) rating.

Sounds way low to
me. I'd go with 100% or more over nominal. REMEMBER, you are
protecting the wire, not the device.
