Joe,  thanks for reporting from the other world.   If I were doing a side port, cold side injection would not be considered.  I think all those convoluted passages would make it unlikely to succeed.  Also, the relative slow  velocity  in the four runner intake might contribute to  the problem giving  distillation more time to occur. The velocity  should be twice as fast blasting through our two runners.     I am just guessing here and don't have any idea of the time distillation  requires or even if distillation is a problem in a n/a p port.     If this turns out to be a real problem,  the only thing that would change in my intake  is injector location.    I can live with that.     Regards,  Jerry

Mistral reported on A**E yesterday that they just had way to many
problems with injecting on the cool side and now have there injectors
about 3 inches from the side of the rotary housing. They are doing a
lot of research and development (i.e. hands on) - so I tend to believe
they're finding the best solutions.
