Did you extend the oil pickup tube 1/2"?  I originally left mine the stock length, so I had to leave the dipstick stock as well.  That kept the relationship between the pickup, and the dipstick markings the same.   Now that I have the pan off, I'm going to make a 1/2" spacer to lower the pickup, as I should have done originally.  Then of course I'll have to cut off the dipstick tube 1/2".  Just one of the little good things that will come out of this mess.

Hi Rusty. I made 1/2” spacer for the oil pickup and than cut 1/2” off the dipstic tube too. Before assembly of the pan make a “dry run” assembly. My oil pickup was hitting the bottom of the pan, I had silicone all over, and it was drying fast. You get the picture.
