Both A and B are plugged with a brass plug.  I think the "arm" you are
refering to may be some other clutter in the background, or is it the
brass plug?  I've attached a photo showing that area from the front.

Ok.. if that is a PLUG there in then disregard my comments regarding the drive arm. Sounds like Bruce has addressed the issue already. Double check with him to be sure, dont take MY word for it. You CAN use that drive arm hole thats plugged for oil return too.

The oil filter pad has been removed and bypassed interanlly.  I
embarrassed myself a few months back when I called Bruce to ask him a
question about the oil bypass block. :)
