I've talked to at least a couple folks about using PP for the single rotor, and
have been talked out of doing it. I'd love to, because it would be easy,
but the argument seems to be that it will give great power, in
a very narrow band of rpms. I've also been told that PP
has no advantage below 7500 rpm, where we all run. Specifically, I've
been talking about using the factory PP housings, so it may be that a
more conservatively timed port could be constructed, and would work
better.
I know PP is
one of Lynn's favorite subjects, so maybe he'll chime in here. I want to
believe, really.
