One doesn't get galling of the rotor bearing surfaces from lack of apex seal lubrication. Plus, the oil pump itself exhibited galling. Sounds like he lost his oil pressure. If he'd only be flying 1.25 min., that pretty much limits it down to a leak somewhere in the path to~from the oil cooler. If y'all have any doubts about the security of your oil path, now's a good time to make certain that nothing can easily come loose. Dale R.
