I do sometimes mix that with MMO, about 1/4 to 1/2 gal per gal of the twostroke oil. Oil to gas is still about 1 oz per gal, maybe slightly less. Maybe I should stop entirely mixing oil in the gas until my apex seals have worn in :) In my mind the real question is: what will lubricate the gearbox the best: MMO or twostroke oil? I've already drained close to a quart from the sump, and only been running less than 50 hours from last oil change. So by the time I reach my 75 hour oilchange mark (Mobil 1 synthetic), I guess I'll be running about 10% MMO/ twostroke oil in the sump. As for Paul Lamar's test, I'm not sure how valid that is. When we were running just MMO both Tracy and I both found the belly of the plane covered with remains of MMO, indicating that at least part of the MMO does not burn and is expelled with exhaust gasses.
