That's actually why I asked the question about using less than 1 oz/gal of oil. My other engine is a 912ULS, which requires premium, and would prefer to not have oil. Rusty, can you = find bunch=20 of disposable 5 oz bottles and toss them out after use? Make sure you = leave=20 expansion room by squeezing the bottle slightly before sealing the=20 cap.

Hi Bulent,  Actually, the 5 oz thing was = just an=20 example of what I do for the 5 gallon jugs I was using to fill the = plane. =20 There would be no problem continuing to use the measuring cup for hanger = use,=20 but even that won't be necessary very soon. =20

By the end of Thanksgiving weekend, = I'll have=20 a 91 gallon tank installed in the truck, complete with 12V fuel = pump and=20 meter.  When  I start using that, I'll have to = either add=20 oil to the transfer tank when I fill it at the station, or leave the = fuel in the=20 transfer tank clean, and add oil as I fill the plane at the = hanger. =20 That's actually why I asked the question about using less than 1 oz/gal = of=20 oil.  My other engine is a 912ULS, which requires premium, and = would=20 prefer to not have oil.  I have it from a reliable source that = using MMO in=20 the 912 won't hurt a thing, particularly if you keep the = concentration as=20 low as possible.  It also won't hurt other engines it seems, so = I've been=20 thinking of going back to MMO, and just mixing it in the transfer = tank. =20 One thing's for sure, it would stay mixed up as I=20 drive.

The problem is how to add oil when filling up = at=20 another airport.  Clearly, from the responses, I'm worrying too = much about=20 exact ratios.  I'll probably just buy a few quarts of MMO, then = reuse the=20 bottles by filling them from gallon containers.  They seem to be = pretty=20 heavy duty bottles, and have a nice long neck, so it's probably as good = as=20 any.

Thanks,
