Hi Dale,
according to the article at http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/34_54.html
the main parameters are diameter of the impellers and the rpm of the
pump. Clicking on "the Affinity Laws" link, their equations don't take
anything into account for the impeller shape. It could be they are
assuming some optimized design, or that a different diamenter pump is
the same design. In any case, if you want to try something different,
we can work something out when I get the pump back from Paul L.

Same idea I had. I can't afford the pump at this point, but if someone that already has one could send me the dimensions of the current impeller, and the cavity in which it spins ... Dale R.
Have machine tools, will make chips.
PS - does the shaft have a flat spot for the set screw, or a keyway for indexing?
