Hi all
I'm building an RV8 and I'm would = like advice=20 on 3 things.
Will a turbo fit ok under the cowl of = the=20 RV8?

>>>  Of course there is room, but it's the plumbing = &=20 intercooler that's the trick.  Can be done but don't = underestimate the=20 effort required.

With a turbo will I still need a = muffler and if I=20 do can I get away with a much small and lighter constructed one = without it=20 self destructing by the exaust gas pressure?

>>>  Depends on your personal = tolerance=20 for noise.  I'd say yes.  I hope you are not one of those = misguided=20 souls (IMO) who are planning on a turbo just to eliminate a=20 muffler.  Worst possible rationalization for installing = one.

Am I better off buying the cowl from = Vans with=20 the snorkel out front for extra cooling?
 Thanks=20 Greg
