I’m not sure what you mean by ‘half open’; but I recall h= aving to go direct to MSD for the connectors; the ones that can with the wir= es were not correct.  They sent them for no charge.

Thanks Al, I realized I was assuming the open end was going into the coil. = After I had the coil in front of me I got it right.
Crimped the wires and everything is OK.
