Hi Tracy;
I was planning on using PC Flight systems E MON
engine data unit with an I-Pac PC in my Rotary
Velocity but I just sketched out a 6.3" x 3" space in
panel planner for your new unit. Thanks
John Absolutely! The programmable alarm limits (both
high and low side) are a
key feature. Will be posting the complete details
on the website soon and
will have the prototype at Sun 'n Fun for show &
tell at the hands on engine
forum tent.
There are a total of 27 instruments stuffed into the
EM2, even the fuel
gauges are included. The EM2 can replace virtually
every 'steam gauge' on
the panel.
Air data includes Airspeed, Altitude & Rate of Climb
but even I like having
a conventional analog airspeed indicator so the EM2
will just be for backup
on air data in most cases.

Rusty,
Width of the EM2 is same as standard radio/avionics
stack (about 6.3").
Height is about 3". If you reserve this space on
the panel you will be
safe. Thanks for the help offer!
