I've gotten permission from the manufacturer to release some information
about the intake manifold. The reason I wanted to check with him first
is that he isn't in production yet. This photo is of an engine being
shiped to Switzerland by master engine builder Bruce Turrentine ( http://rotaryresources.com/index.php ). It is the first intake
manifold he has actually sold, and is based on his best estimate of a
reasonable compromise between performance and size. As I understand his thinking, adjusting the tuning over a fairly wide
range only results in small change in power.  These runners are 7 inches
long, and may not be optimum, but will work pretty good, and not take up
a lot of space.  The plenum is 3" dia, so total distance out form the
engine is around 10 inches.  There is a support bracket that is not
shown.  Also, Bruce ports his engines so that the primary and secondary
ports have the same timing, so the runner lengths are the same for
primary and secondary.

I have one on order but with the throttle body on the other end, and a
single fuel rail with all four injectors mounted on the runners. The
plenum will also be bent up about 1 inch higher for a better fit in my
cowling. Bruce won't be in production for a couple of months(at least)
and will be selling them in the neighborhood of $450. I hope to have
some running time on mine by then.

BW. This photo looks exactly like my current manifold with two distinct
differnces.  On mine, the runner are only about 4" long, (bad) and the
air valve faces forward.
I have been thinking of extending the runners to about 12"(if they
will fit in the cowling), so I would really appreciate any performance
data on the pictured manifold.

Sorry, I didn't mean to send the photo until I have permission from
the person who made the manifold.  If he gives me the go ahead, I will
send more information.  It's aluminum.
