Don't you mean "horn" or "trumpet" shaped? If I understand it right you want to "squeeze" the air out into the edges and corners.

Note that Tracy is now using the Streamline duct (Bell shaped) for his radiator and correctly points out that folks often make the mistake of curving the duct outward in that location - just the opposite of what you need to do.
