I hadn't thought about needing to replace a fuel probe but I guess those things can break, too. I'll make sure I have a clear shot thought the wheel well, and I'll do the "great gaping hole". I'm curious about fuel strainer access, though. Has anyone ever needed to clean one? And by the way, Aircraft Spruce sells these things pre-made. Why does the LNC2 manual have us Hysol one together from hardware store window screening? Am I missing something here? For Dave Jones, I actually like the cats -- I'd prefer fewer of course -- and I don't want them walking on my canopy. In fact, one of the cats stays with me in the garage while I'm working. She likes to sleep on the roof of my soft-top Miata while she's in the garage, so I put an old Army blanket over the roof if I let the cats in. Everyone thinks I'm nuts. And unlike your single experience, animal excrement is a continual subject in my household. Hardly a morning goes by when we aren't awakened by some animal effluvia appearing in a most disgusting and audible manner.... Now my wife wants a goat. Yuk. (Sorry, Lance!) Now I suppose nobody will come over to visit. But if you go to Scott Krueger's house, though, check the dinnerware caferully.... <> Thanks again for all the good advice.
