After reading all about the counterweight weight issues AND the 'curve the
leading CW horn' issue, I've come up with a plan. Any and all comments are
welcome. BTW, this is for a IV-P.
The CW horn is 2" high. I found some PVC pipe just a bit smaller and I plan
to use it with some plaster to create a 1/2 round mold into which I'll be
pouring lead. Next I'll drill the 1/2 round weights and lag bolt (two bolts
per side from the front) them into the existing lead in the CW area.
Finally, I plan to wrap 1 or 2 layers of carbon from the EL trailing edge,
around the leading edge of the CW horn and back to the trailing edge for a
bit of extra strength and rigidity.
What do you all think?
