25 lb. for the cooler and fan, how much for the ice?

Water is heavy stuff....

It's also pretty bulky, takes up a lot more room than a good A/C
installation.  For liquid cooled engines, there's no question that you should
stack the A/C heat exchanger with an engine water heater core so that the
same fan can serve both heating and A/C functions.  Dick Perry has designed a
very clean system along these lines.  It is fully contained in the tail with
flush inlets and outlets so when you're up high and cruising it shouldn't
have any aerodynamic impact.
