I also saw the crash of N707SH a Lancair iv-p listed on the NTSB website.
The information I got is not verified and comes second hand from a Lancair
builder in Denver.  He stated that a shaft failed inside one of the turbo's
causing the seals to fail resulting in engine oil going overboard.  He
indicated that the shaft was made by the same manufacturer that had the
metalurgical problem with the crankshaft AD we are all familiar with.
Whether or not this is true is unkown to me, but I present it in hopes that
we all can learn from this accident as well.  John Wright,. iv-p Colorado
