I sent my Pellican ND alternator into B&C and they took care of me. Check with B&C, because they may be able to help get yours working properly. B&C's alternator was based on the ND core. Of course, we assume that you have checked that the belt is not slipping under the larger loads. A 60 amp alternator takes nearly 2 HP from the engine via the belt.
