Before I started to repair and then recut a hole in the spar, I would first
figure out what is the purpose of the hole--you did say.
Is it a fuel drain hole, allowing the fuel to drain from the spar cavity?
If this is the case, calculate the hold up up undrainable fuel based on the
geometry of the structure and placement of the misaligned hole.
It may only be a pint or so--certainly not enough to put additional holes in
the spar.
If the hole is for something else, please tell us, as some of us are
wondering what a large hole in the spar is for?
